Terms of service

The legal frame for using Centeo. Plain language. Real obligations on both sides.

These terms govern your access to and use of Centeo (the “site”), operated by Centeo Group ApS, CVR DK40651101, Viborgvej 159 A, 8210 Aarhus V, Denmark (“Centeo,” “we,” “us”). By accessing the site you agree to these terms. If you do not, do not use the site.

1. About these terms

These terms form a binding agreement between you and Centeo. If you use the site on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these terms.

2. About Centeo

Centeo Group ApS is a Danish private limited company headquartered in Aarhus. The site presents information about Centeo’s services and provides a way to contact us. The Centeo platform itself — which routes loan applications between brokers and lenders — is governed by separate contractual agreements with business partners and is not in scope of these terms.

3. Access to the site

We make reasonable efforts to keep the site available and current, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free content, or absolute security. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site without prior notice.

4. Restrictions on use

You must not:

  • Use the site for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
  • Attempt unauthorised access, scrape data beyond what robots.txt permits, or carry out denial-of-service activity.
  • Inject malware, viruses, or harmful code.
  • Collect personal data about other users without a lawful basis.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code.
  • Misrepresent yourself as Centeo or another person.
  • Infringe intellectual-property rights.

5. Information you submit

When you submit a contact form or other communication, you represent that the content is accurate, does not infringe third-party rights, and that you are authorised to share it. Submitted information is processed under our privacy policy.

6. Intellectual property

Content, design, source code, trademarks, and logos on the site are owned by Centeo Group ApS or its licensors and are protected by Danish and international law. You may view and quote content for non-commercial purposes with clear attribution. Any other use — including copying, modification, distribution, or public display — requires prior written consent.

7. Third-party links and content

The site may link to external resources. We do not control these and accept no responsibility for their content, terms, or practices. A link is not an endorsement.

8. Disclaimers

The site is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, or freedom from defects. Content is informational and is not legal or financial advice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Danish law, Centeo and its officers, employees, agents, and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, revenue, or goodwill — whether the claim arises in contract, tort, or otherwise. Our aggregate liability to you may not exceed DKK 1,000.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory Danish law — including liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

10. Indemnification

You will indemnify Centeo against any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the site in breach of these terms or applicable law.

11. Privacy

Our processing of personal data is governed by our privacy policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published here with a new “Effective” date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, without notice, if you breach these terms or expose the site or other users to risk. Provisions on liability, intellectual property, and governing law survive termination.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be brought before the District Court of Aarhus (Retten i Aarhus) as court of first instance, except where mandatory consumer-protection rules require otherwise.
